Roan Goulden
President

Roan is a final-year LLB student. He has served on the Bar Society for all three years of his degree. Before becoming President, he was a first-year representative, and then Treasurer. His legal interests include criminal, consumer, and regulatory law.


Outside of UoMBAS, Roan also runs the Manchester Innocence Project, and led the student team who applied to the CCRC challenging the murder conviction in R v Kai Shannon [2014].


Roan was also the Championship Moot Winner in 2024, and competed on behalf of the University in BPP Advocate of the Year, reaching the national final.
