The University of Manchester Bar and Advocacy Society proudly presents the Main Moot Competition 2021/22, our flagship internal mooting competition which has served as a sturdy stepping stone in many an advocate's career progression in the Society's long history here at the University. The competition has four rounds. Each round is set to be judged by practicing barristers or legal professionals from around the country. Students will encounter a range of differing legal practice areas in the course of the competition. Unlike the Beginner's Moot, students are expected to create their own skeleton arguments for each round of the competition, and are thereby given more liberty to innovate in developing original legal arguments.
